More fallout from the death of the redevelopment agency, this time in Hollywood. The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences doesn't actually own the former KFC parcel that sits adjacent to its planned outdoor screening space on Vine St., even thought it was slated to be part of the movie museum originally intended for the site--it belongs, of course, to the Community Redevelopment Agency of LA. The Hollywood Reporter reports that with the dissolution of the CRA/LA, "AMPAS plans to monitor how the parcel will be sold and remains interested in acquiring it." [THR]
