Is Oakland Raiders owner Mark Davis being candid or manipulative? He said at a press event yesterday that he's talked to groups involved in both the proposed Downtown LA NFL stadium and the proposed Industry NFL stadium, "but he has not been offered a deal that satisfies him." Probably not coincidentally, Davis is angling for a new stadium (or possibly to share the 49ers new stadium) up in the Bay Area. Meanwhile, the New York Times wonders if the Raiders are a normal football team now. [SGVT]
