Breaking news on the last day of the state legislative session: the senate passed a bill fast-tracking environmentally-based lawsuits against developer AEG's proposed Downtown NFL stadium. The Assembly passed it earlier this week; Governor Brown hasn't stated his position on it yet. The senate also passed AB900, which everyone just learned about yesterday--it expedites those environmentally-based lawsuits for all development projects that cost more than $100 million and are found to be environmentally friendly (infill, LEED Silver, extra "transportation efficiency").
