California Watch is reporting that California's highest concentrations of long commutes are in Los Angeles and Riverside counties--and commutes are getting longer. Of the 15 million commuters in the state, 2.7 million of them require more than 45 minutes to get to work (wonder how many of those poor souls are on the 10). In a recent Wall Street Journal article, Kate Lister of the San Diego-based Telework Research Network, claims that Southern California is one of the only regions in the country (along with New York) where commutes are getting longer.
