The Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum is moving toward giving USC more power at the stadium--yesterday, the Coliseum Commission passed a vote that "calls for an agreement that could grant USC the lead role in running the Coliseum, but there is no guarantee that the school would win exclusive use of it." USC is the Coliseum's primary tenant and ast month it made a power play, threatening to block a hypothetical NFL team from playing at the stadium (temporarily, while Farmers Field is built) unless it got a master lease.
