What time is it? Pacific Standard Time (the Getty-organized, region-wide, six-month survey of mid-century SoCal art)! We'll take a look around that transported Eames House living room later today (plus even more Eames-related dirt after that), but first this video of the giant, disembodied head of legendary artist John Baldessari trailing actor/musician/Coppola Jason Schwartzman down Wilshire Blvd. until Schwartzman finally gives in and goes to look around LACMA. The video involves a cheese metaphor and a cameo by Curb Your Enthusiasm's Jeff Garlin. As part of the marketing for PST, they're pairing up mid-century artists with younger artists and bouncing them off each other in short videos--we already saw Anthony Kiedis and Ed Ruscha driving around town and we're still impatiently waiting for Ice Cube on Charles and Ray Eames.
