Big Plans for Pacoima Wash

New, 2 comments

Streetsblog has details about the Pacoima Wash Vision Plan, currently being drafted with the help of an LA County Department of Public Heath grant and an environmental justice organization called Pacoima Beautiful. The Vision Plan would change the blighted situation at and around the Pacoima Wash LA River tributary by building bike lanes, parks, pedestrian walkways, and equestrian trails. The landscape architect for the plan is Mia Lehrer and Associates, which also worked on the Los Angeles River Revitalization Master Plan. Streetsblog has all the nitty gritty on the plans (and there are a lot of details). Pacoima Beautiful has already collected $1 million to improve the Wash. [Streetsblog]
