The Sunset Inn & Suites on Sunset Blvd. (across from the Guitar Center at N. Vista St.) is working to drag some of that Hollywood gentrification magic farther west--it's getting a brightly-colored facelift and a rebranding to become the much sexier Moment Hotel. The Sunset Inn's website shows that until now it's been a pretty standard fare Hollywood motel (put down the blacklight), but construction is already underway on this makeover by Amit Apel Design. Deal with it, W. Work is expected to wrap up in January 2012.
