Blockshopper reports that developer Sonny Astani--most recently and frequently in these pages for the Downtown condo project formerly known as Concerto, which he developed and eventually lost--is selling his house in the Pacific Palisades. It's always fun to get a look at the houses of the people who make the housing (even if this one looks to be staged). Astani's four bedroom, four and a quarter bathroom house was, according to the listing, "designed by a protege of Richard Neutra" and it sits on a flat half-acre lot. Features include a complex pool, "magical secluded garden," private courtyard off the master, eat-in kitchen, and two-car garage. Asking price is $4.395 million.
