The Real Estalker is reporting that Simpsons creator and long-time Malibuite Matt Groening has picked up Santa Monica's Gorham House--the thoroughly remodeled 1910 house originally designed by Robert D. Farquhar. (Farquhar designed Beverly Hills High School and Holmby Hills's Owlwood.) Today the half-acre property includes a much-expanded main house with four bedrooms; a guesthouse with one bedroom, two bathrooms, and a screening room; a pool, and multiple outdoor fire pits. Past listing info is a bit wonky, but we first saw the Gorham in March asking $11.995 million. According to Redfin and Real Estalker, Groening paid $11.65 million.
