LA Live developer AEG is the scrappy underdog, for once, in the Hollywood Reporter's story on movie premieres. AEG and Regal Cinemas have always wanted their hopefully-named Premiere House to compete for big events with the Chinese Theatre, the Cinerama Dome at the Arclight, and Westwood's Village Theatre, "But the major studios have held no more than a handful of premieres at L.A. Live's Premiere House, citing the far-flung location and [LA Live] traffic as deterrents." [THR]
