As the legislators in Sacramento head into recess, Streetsblog runs a nice status report on various state legislation impacting traffic safety, livability, and complete streets. Among the tally are AB 710 and SB 791, two hotly contested bills that would lower parking requirements for developments near transit hubs and allow local gas taxes to be raised with the approval of a simple majority of voters, respectively.
