IBM has released its frankly-named Global Commuter Pain survey, which quantifies the emotional response of commuters to traffic congestion. Get ready for some perspective Angelenos: commuter pain in Los Angeles is substantially lower than in many other cities around the world (Mexico City feels it the worst). But if perverse forms of civic pride are your thing, road rage in Los Angeles is increasing: according to the New York Times analysis of the report, anger caused by traffic increased in Los Angeles, from 14 percent in 2010 to 29 percent in 2011.
