Damn, soon-to-be-exes Courteney Cox and David Arquette have fine taste in real estate. A few years after they bought that sexy John Lautner-designed beachhouse in Malibu (which they sold in 2007 to ill-fated Dodgers owners Frank and Jamie McCourt), the pair picked up this 1959 A. Quincy Jones house in the Trousdale Estates. They paid $5.45 million in 2004 and are about to list for $20 million, according to the very reliable Real Estalker (which is maybe not so crazy if you consider that friend and neighbor Jennifer Aniston just recently got $35 million for the Hal Levitt-designed house she bought in 2006 for $13.5 million). And the Cox-Arquettes put some work into the place--architect Cory Buckner, who's known for her work on the Jones/Whitney Smith-designed Crestwood Hills tract in Brentwood, did a "Complete house remodel," according to her website. That included: "bedrooms reconfigured with new hall, new kitchen, all new finish materials and outdoor Fireorb fireplace." The house sits on nine-tenths of an acre and has that totally killer swimming pool featured in Architectural Digest back in 1974.
