Dr. Phil's Beverly Crest house, listed in mid-July with some rather bizarre macros of pool tile and place settings, just got chopped by $600,000, down to $5.65 million. The doctor had to chop his last house, on Warbler Way in the Bird Streets, several times before it finally sold at just about a million dollars below the original asking price. Are we seeing history repeat itself here? The five bedroom, six bathroom house was originally built in 1950, but underwent a big enough renovation in 2005 that the listing refers to it as "completed in 2006."
