Today's perusal of ye olde Craig's Liste turned up this rather intriguing posting for a 1926 English Tudor-style cottage plus "live-in greenhouse" in Beverly Hills. The ad claims the cottage was "originally built by William Randolph Hearst for the Marion Davies Estate," a boast for which we can find no evidence proving or disproving. Either way, it looks pretty dang adorable, but you'll need a Hearst-level trust fund to lease it: monthly rent for the property is $3,950.
