Oof, this is some extreme pricechopping. Architect Leo Marmol (of Marmol Radziner) listed his Desert Hot Springs house back in January 2008 asking $1.85 million. Three and a half years and several chops later, it's now asking $599,000. Back in 2008, we wrote that "Marmol's much-lauded desert home helped fuel the trend of factory-built prefab housing." Looks like the house's fortunes have fallen with prefab's. [Curbed National]
