Sunset Junction Not Dead Yet

New, 16 comments

The Sunset Junction Street Fair is claiming it can pay its bills and should be able to go on as planned this weekend (the city denied its permits after saying it owed a total of about $400k for both last year's and this year's festivals). The LA Times talked to booker Jennifer Tefft, who says the festival raised the $141k it owes for this year, partially from small donors, but mostly from "an organization that loves and supports the festival." The Board of Public Works, which can decide the festival's fate, meets this morning. [LAT]
