The Los Angeles City Council just held its first hearing on the proposed Farmers Field NFL stadium project and is scheduled to vote on an agreement with developer AEG on August 9. Everything is looking pretty rosy for a 2016 pro football season in Los Angeles, which would be the first since both the Rams and the Raiders abandoned SoCal in 1995.
