Take a Look Around Ex-Bell City Manager Robert Rizzo's House

New, 38 comments

If, during your tenure as city manager of a small town in southeast LA County, you (allegedly) diverted millions in tax revenues directly into your bank account, what would you spend your riches on? If you're thinking 3,250 square feet of stucco and marble, then you and former Bell city manager Robert Rizzo have a lot in common. Rizzo, who apparently couldn't even be bothered to live in the city he was (allegedly) nearly bankrupting, moved out of his Huntington Beach house in June--his real estate agent implied to the OC Register that he's "getting his affairs in order before going on trial." Now the four bedroom, three and a half bathroom house has officially hit the MLS, asking $949,000. The listing calls it an "Incredibly remodeled executive home just blocks to the ocean & downtown." Rizzo bought the house in 2007 for $1.13 million. Here are the listing photos; the OC Register took a tour and has a little more.
