Yet another place Charlie Chaplin lived has gone up for sale (and the LA Times seems pretty confident that it's the real deal). This one is a three bedroom built in 1926 above the Sunset Strip and it's actually got one up on all those other Chaplin houses--Robert Downey Jr., who played Chaplin in Chaplin, lived in the house in the nineties (research?). Asking price is $1.725 million, but it's already in contract. [CN/LAT/Redfin]
