As expected, the West Hollywood Planning Commission delayed voting yesterday on the David Barton gym project proposed for the old Tower Records site on the Sunset Strip. While the commission took public comments (about 70% against, 30% for, according to the WeHo Patch), it also continued the hearing until August 4--opponents had , complained they didn't have enough time to sift through the environmental impact report released in late June. Patch says the four-screen video billboard was a "hot topic." [WeHo Patch]
