The OC Great Park gets some flak for moving slowly and cutting back on some of its grand plans, but Board Chair Beth Krom says she thinks "we actually have been more successful in activating this park than those who built Central Park and those who built Golden Gate Park or Balboa Park." Big talk! Two new sections, the 20 acre North Lawn and the 8 acre Palm Court Arts Complex, open tomorrow, doubling the size of the development on the old El Toro Marine Base.
