Photos by Luke Gibson The new West Hollywood Library project, which includes City Council chambers, CATV facilities, two new garages with 400 spaces, and new tennis courts, is set to be completed in the fall and is coming along nicely. Architectural photographer Luke Gibson took a tour a couple weeks ago and shared some of his photos with us--things are already looking more finished than they were on our tour in early June. The Johnson Favaro-designed library will include a bookstore, a Wells Fargo Career Development Center (!), and a West Hollywood Room and Archives with a special collection "that serves as a repository of the community's collective memory," according to press materials. Mayor Pro Tem Jeffrey Prang says it'll be "more than just a library...It is more of a civic center."
