The Santa Monica City Council has approved a two building, four story office and retail project intended to be the new headquarters for independent studio Lionsgate. The development will sit at Colorado Blvd. and Stewart St. and include "creative studio space on the upper floors and approximately 6,000 square feet of retail on the bottom of its two buildings." It's the first project developed entirely under the city's new land use guidelines. Developers hope to move Lionsgate in by 2015. Rendering via Lookout News [SMDP]
