Like Laurence Olivier's Mr. Darcy, this Roy Selden Price-designed house above the Sunset Strip was almost universally praised, back when we first saw it in May 2010. The 1926 house was designed by Roy Selden Price and according to more than one source, was rented out to Sir Olivier when he first arrived in Los Angeles. The house five bedrooms, five bathrooms, a library, a guest apartment, a screening room, and an outdoor bar. It was first listed in April 2010 asking $2.595 million and has been chopped (or repeatedly stabbed?) down just a little to $2.425 million. It's also available for one to three month lease at $10,600 per month.
