It's only Tuesday and it's already been a very Lebowski week around here--yesterday we visited the John Lautner-designed Sheats-Goldstein House, aka Jackie Treehorn's pad, and now we learn that Jeff "The Dude" Lebowski's bungalow court in Venice is up for sale. This six unit court only provided exteriors for the movie (interiors were shot on a soundstage in West Hollywood, according to the book I'm a Lebowski, You're a Lebowski), but either way they've been fixed up since The Dude's era, according to LA Weekly (the movie came out in 1998). All the units are one bedrooms with side yards and garage parking. Asking price for all six (and feel free to make your own lack of rug jokes): $2.295 million. Now if Greystone Mansion, which played most of the Lebowski estate, goes up for sale, we'll know something nihilist-backed is going on here.
