The lugubrious listing pix for this Bel Air mid-century modern brought to our mind a scene (link to a video) from the 1998 Frankie Lymon bio-pic, Why Do Fools Fall in Love?, in which singer Zola Taylor (played by Halle Berry) comes back from tour to find her swanky home (played by Pierre Koenig's Stahl House) in ruins. However, unlike the fictional residence, which had been turned into a ravaged husk, it's not too hard to envision this home being restored to its Jet Age glory. (Presuming, of course, that its issues are more cosmetic than red-tag-worthy.) Built in 1964, the 2,708 square foot house features three bedrooms, three baths, parquet wood floors, built-ins, a bitchin' fireplace, and excellent views. It's listed at $1.398 million.
