At its (six hour!) meeting last night, the West Hollywood City Council asked the city manager to study "the saturation point for billboards on the Strip," reports the WeHo Patch. That came right around the same time they approved two new billboards--on the Grafton Hotel and the Key Club--and put off deciding on changes to two other Strip billboards. The sign deals will net the city a lot of money from the property owners, but people who live above the Strip protested, saying the billboards'll ruin their views, property values, and sleep.
