Failing at photographing one's home is like failing phys ed or study hall--it shouldn't be possible, but somehow there's always someone who falls through the cracks. To help listings be their very best, we show you what not to do.

Almost every other photo in this set is a beautiful shot. The photos don't even need to be that great, because this is an amazing mid-century home. So when there are 29 other pics in the listing, why include one with vacuum skidmarks? And ones this bad?
This is not an isolated problem. Just check out the Hancock Park home of Mr. Blackwell of Worst Dressed List fame. This place has skidmarks galore, which do nothing to enhance the listing, despite the miserable mansion's pleas for help.
