The Hall of Justice should be back to crime-fighting in 2014, according to County Supervisor Zev Yaroslavsky's website. Yesterday, the Supes approved a design-build contractor for the planned restoration, which will fix it up for occupation by the Sheriff's Department and members of the DA's staff. Design-build work is set to begin next month and the contractor has even agreed to bump the HoJ up to LEED Gold for no extra charge. [Zev Yaroslavsky]
