Greening Your Graywater

Silver Lake's Materials & Applications wants to help put homeowners in the green, both outside and inside their wallets. This weekend, the non-profit architecture and landscape research group will host two days of hands-on demonstrations and education in how to make your home's graywater (the stuff you send down the bathroom sink) green. The workshops will teach earth-loving, economical types all about harvesting rain, legal and health issues regarding water recycling, and how to install an irrigation line that connects landscape to laundry drain.
