Mid-Century St. Tropez on La Cienega, Boozy Spring, A Cabbage Patch Grows Downtown, WeHo's O-Bar Goes Down

RESTAURANT ROW: Opening next week is Rosé (pictured), a St. Tropez-inspired restaurant that "captures the essence of the French Riviera lifestyle" with fresh-air seating and southern French cooking. No specifics on dishes but The New York Times wrote about the bartender mixologist Alex Ott, so he must be fancy.

DOWNTOWN: A sizable new liquor store has opened on burgeoning Spring Street, at 5th--called Buzz, there's 4,000 bottles of wine and no shortage of beer available for purchase. The hours run until 2 a.m. every night, which seems ballsy.

DOWNTOWN: 6th Street's Cabbage Patch must be doing well: a second level is being added, as is sidewalk seating and longer hours. Weekend hours? Not quite there yet, but soon.

WEST HOLLYWOOD: After eight years, the Miami Beach-styled, hit-or-miss O-Bar is shutting its doors. A new concept is set to be unveiled soon for the primo spot.
