Hollywood School Builds Itself a Tiny Version of Hollywood Bowl

A/N Blog brings us this scene from last Friday, a charming and sweet mini-Hollywood Bowl at Gardner Street Elementary School. According to A/N, Hodgetts + Fung, the firm responsible for the renovation of the real thing back in 2003, helped the kids at the school build this homage out of polystyrene and PVC pipe for the school's 100th anniversary. No word on whether the school kept the mini-Bowl, which could prove useful for Christmas pageants. (The Hodgetts in Hodgetts + Fung was also, if you'll recall, the guy who came up with that crazy bus-swallower back in 1969.) -Andy J. Wang
