Now that Candy Spelling's The Manor has officially gone "sale pending" on the MLS (she's rumored to be selling to either a 22 year old Brit heiress or...someone else), AOL Real Estate is hearing that she'll be moving into the Carlyle in Westwood next week. Spelling already owns a $35 million penthouse at The Century, but it's undergoing some serious renovations to be made Candy-ready, so this explains what she'll be doing between the 56,500 square foot Manor and the 15,555 square foot penthouse. And here's the real shocker: AOL says the unit that Spelling's moving into is 5,600 square feet. Where will she gift wrap??
We assume Spelling will be leasing--the 78 unit building started offering a few units for rent last fall, with prices ranging from $8,000 a month (for a two bedroom) all the way up to $20,000 (for a three bedroom). Here's a three bedroom, 5,519 square foot two-story penthouse that's listed for sale to give you an idea of what Spelling will be moving into (asking price is $13.795 million). By the way, according to AOL, the Carlyle is 70 percent sold.
