The LADWP's plans for a green tech incubator in the Arts District are taking off--the lab will open in a temporary space on Hewitt Street in July. It's also got a name (La Kretz Innovation Campus), an architect for the permanent space (John Friedman Alice Kimm Architects), and a new nonprofit to manage it (LA Incubator).
