While Los Angeles's share of television pilot production is down to 51 percent, New York's has doubled to about 10 percent, reports the LA Times. Los Angeles offers a 20 percent tax credit for television production and gives out $100 million every year; New York has a 30 percent credit and gives out $420 million per year. New York also gives productions free police assistance and a 10 percent discount on local vendors. [LAT]
