We always sort of thought we'd have The Manor, but obviously we didn't anticipate the British Invasion. The Wall Street Journal is reporting that 22 year old Formula One racing heiress Petra Ecclestone is in contract to buy Candy and the late Aaron Spelling's Holmby Hills estate. Ecclestone, who besides being young, rich, and beautiful, probably has nothing at all going for her, will split her time between LA and London after she marries entrepreneur James Stunt in August. Since it first went up for sale in 2008, the property has been listed unfailingly at $150 million, but no sale price has been reported yet. Candy Spelling finalized a $35 million condo purchase at the Century in December.
