The LA Times looks at the many woes of the Children's Museum of Los Angeles, which ten years after moving out of its old Downtown home, has a Lake View Terrace building that it can't afford to fill with exhibits. Santa Ana's Discovery Science Center has stepped in to run the museum, but that's conditional on the exhibit funds being raised--they're estimated at $16 to $21 million. But don't be too gloomy about it, says State Senator Alex Padilla: "Disney Hall didn't happen [quickly]" either. [LAT]
