Manhattan Beach has successfully gotten (almost) everybody off its dune, the one at Sand Dune Park that people liked a little too much. The city created a pretty complicated reservation policy last July, and now the parks and recreation director says only seven percent of the time slots are actually being used. Meanwhile, MB is deciding whether to replace its $344 per year rental fence with a $101,000 permanent fence. [Daily Breeze]
