Architecture firm Gensler is super excited about its upcoming move to downtown. It's already dreaming up new radical parking plans, skywalks and gondolas, and distribution methods for its future neighborhood. This video, via the Architect's Newspaper blog, was made by three students at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo’s Professional Studio program--Sarah Fleming, Tam Thien Tran, and Toon Virochpoka--under the instruction of Gensler's design directors Shawn Gehle and Li Wen. It looks at the explosion of cars and people in LA over the last century, considers current downtown land use, and makes some suggestions for future improvements.
