This dirt lot, until earlier this year the site of an old Circuit City, will one day be home to loads of demographically-desirable, Americana-frequenting young people, according to its developer. American Multifamily Inc says the Broadway Lofts are targeted at "young professionals age 20 to 30 with an average income of $55,000," the Glendale News-Press reported in January. The be-asshatted development will have ground-floor retail and 208 lofts and apartments ranging from 360 square feet to 1,100 square feet. Tropico Station snapped this shot and writes that the east side of Maryland Ave. has lately been home to "a non-stop stream of trucks carrying dirt away from the site." Completion is scheduled for January 2013.
