The Daily Mail has video of a man proposing to his girlfriend "Caroline" in front of the Cinnabon at the Westfield Fashion Square in Sherman Oaks--he brings out a guitarist to sing "Sweet Caroline" and tells her he loves the way she eat cupcakes. And she bolts. It seems kind of fake (the YouTube uploader claims "One of us just happened to be in the Sherman Oaks Fashion mall when this went down."), but the sentiment is all too real--no one wants a major life event to happen in a food court in the Valley.
