A casting call has popped up for a "Real Housewives"-esque reality show, to feature doyennes of the Pacific. Here's a snippet of the notice via The Daily Truffle: "Producers of a ‘Malibu Housewives’ show are looking for Malibu women to join the cast [of] an ultra stylish docu-soap that follows the privileged lives of Malibu’s high society women and their families." It's not clear if this is a Bravo project, but the network's other LA County uppercrust lady show, "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," is a bona fide hit and one of the more amusing entries in the franchise. To the "Malibu Housewives" producer: We can imagine that plenty of uber-wealthy Malibu ladies are faithful Curbed readers, so we apologize if your inbox gets flooded. [Daily Truffle]
