That giant Forever 21 distribution center planned for the old South Central Farm land never materialized and now the site--about 14 acres at 41st and Alameda--is for sale for $18 million. The farmers want it back, and City Councilmember Jan Perry says "she would like it to go to the buyer who would bring the greatest number of jobs to people in the immediate area," which is what the distribution center was supposed to do.
