Spitshining the Boulevard

The storefronts on Hollywood Boulevard are not, as popularly believed, styrofoam painted in trompe l'oeil, so to get them spiffed up, the Hollywood Entertainment District is launching a "Hollywood Facelift" campaign. They'll hold clean-up seminars for business owners and hire a consultant to negotiate discounts with contractors. And they're in talks with Sherwin-Williams to provide the paint.
