In light of more tsunami talk this morning, the coast-dwellers might appreciate this: last week City Councilmember Bill Rosendahl submitted a motion to the council's public safety committee saying the city needs a tsunami warning siren that will sound up and down the coast in case of an emergency. He's asking that a report be prepared on "the feasibility of installation of an emergency tsunami siren along the coast, as well as the costs associated with this siren and possible funding sources."
