Construction on a long-stalled Glassell Park project along Eagle Rock Boulevard will
start up again in a few months, according to Eastsider LA. The site near the 2 Freeway and Verdugo Road, which sold last year for $25 million, will be a much "different development than the one that failed on the same site. Not only does it have fewer units, Glassell Park Townhomes will rise three stories instead of four and parking will be located adjacent to the units, not underground." Eastsider checks in with the new developer on the project about what's changed about the project (it's shorter and lost its retail component), while there's also a rendering.
