MAR VISTA: We were curious about this commercial building for sale on Washington Place that's adorned with a big strip of film--the building looks like a distant cousin of the binocular building in Venice. According to listing agent Gabriel Brown, a photographer built the 12,528 square foot building in 1990, and the site houses a "great studio." All yours for $3.950 million. [Curbed Staff]
LOS ANGELES: From the InBox, a rant! "Please tell landscape architects ..to stop using society garlic plants! Only you, Curbed, can stop this scourge. Here are some pix. They are pretty but they smell bad!!! And they are taking over." Got that, landscape architects?
