The Levi's Film Workshop at MOCA
ECHO PARK: In Echo Park, +>- has just opened up inside of the International Playground boutique. That's pronounced Positive Greater Than Negative, but that phrase must've used too many characters. Racked says "The range is broad, which you can probably tell from peeping the photo of the rack that's all black, velvety and lacy and then seeing the other rack that's stuffed with color, texture, beading and bling."
WEST HOLLYWOOD: Racked stopped by Christian Louboutin last night for a Brad Goreski party (he's Rachel Zoe's former assistant, don't you know). There were shoes, shopping, champagne, and a member of Silversun Pickups.
LITTLE TOKYO: That Deitch! MOCA is collaborating with Levi's to produce a line of trucker jackets with designs by Shepard Fairey, Lady Pink, Keith Haring, and seven other street artists, each available in an edition of 50 and benefitting MOCA. Levi's has also set up a Film Workshop at the Geffen Contemporary, where they'll offer free film training, equipment rental, and pro presentations.
